LDS Art Collection in Liberty was founded in 2023 by John Potter, Audrey Potter and Julie Edholm. The inspiration for the organization originates in John and Audrey's travels to Europe and witnessing the many museums and collections of amazing Christian and Catholic art in various European cities.

In reflecting upon the art, John realized that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and its members also have amazing art and artists but that unlike Europe where much of the art is spread throughout the continent, most LDS art is centered in UT, where the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is headquartered.

Liberty, and its surrounding areas, is a perfect place to grow and nurture another hotspot of LDS inspired art due to the many significant, sacred and historic events that have taken place in Missouri and the large and growing presence of Latter-Day Saints in the area.

While we are currently a small organization we are hoping to grow and work with any and all who are inspired by the restored gospel as we are.
